I've been getting a vibration that sounds like something is loose with the front end. At times it almost sounds like a hood that needs the bump stops tightened but a little louder. On a smooth road or even an average road there is no problem. However if there are a few bumps on one side of the road and the drivers side goes over it I feel the bumps and almost immediately I hear the creaking sound that almost has a hollow sound to it.

Also sometimes when on an incline/decline in a slow turn I get a hollow pop, not too loud but I can hear it. I've got 108k and change on the clock. I know something is loose but I don't want start making unnecessary replacements.

I've been doing some searching and I'm not sure if I should start with ball joints, sway bar end links, or shocks and springs.

I think you have the same problem I have. Its coming from the K-member. Im going to try tightening it up and see if that helps.

I also forgot to mention that if I push down on a front corner of the car a couple times, getting a little bounce going, I end up hearing a loud single clank.

I may have to pull out the service dvd and then get under the car and try to tighten the k-member to see if that works.

Broken spring or broken shock?

man where do i start. i have a clicking noise on the left front. replaced the upper control arm and sway bar link and still clicks. the rightside sounds like it bottoms out when i turn left or go over bumps. the rear makes that sound too.

Broken spring or broken shock?

I just tried to reproduce it and it won't make that sound. I've driven it a little since. I'm assuming if the spring or shock was broken it would be consistent and I could reproduce. But assumptions are eh.
