Yesterday I went in to my work, washed the MM, then over to a buddies place who does works at a body shop and know how to buff.

Had it squeezed in his garage for 4 hrs while he did some magic.

After that it was back to my work and installed 4 new Nitto 555s.

It feels like it drives better, I know the old KDWS were bad, they had about 3/32nds of tread on the best tire. Well that was before I finished them off in the street near by buddies place. After the Nittos were on, the car feels like its more solid, bumps are smoother, and it doesnt want to push when going over a bump running diaginal on the road. I was almost thinking my lower ball joints or all the shocks were starting to wear, but I new the tires were worn out, so replacing them 1st was the way to go. Now it seems like everything is fine again.

I finally feel like the MM could be in a car show this year.

I'm running 420's on the back and 555's up front. I love the 420's but the 555's seem really stiff and I noticed a considerable rougher ride once they were on. They do grip way better than the old BFG's but the ride is horrible in my opinion.

I am running the 555's on the rear and OEM on front. I truly like the feel. A little stiffer, but not too bad.

Just remember they are directional tires, front to back and stay same sides when rotating them.

I'll either be going with some Generals 245/45-18 Front (very close alike tread design as the Nitto 555). I may get the same size in Nitto 555s up front since their is a $40-50 difference between the two and the Nitto 555 265/50-18 in the Rear. Waiting on AConvertedChevy right now who is on his way down to VA and going to meet up to off-load the tires.
