Going back forth between two sizes for the front.
245/45 and 255/45. $13 difference between the two sizes.
Same brand/model General tire like ImpalaSlayer runs which has close to the same tread design at my rear Nitto NT555s. I would of gone with the matching Nitto's up front but can't get before the weekend and would rather have better tread wear up front 300 vs 380. Price isn't a factor, just trying decide would probably look better and be the overall better choice of size to match up with my 265/50 rear tires.
Thoughts?

255's FTW but I am a little prejudiced!
The widest tire that fits and the 255's fit.

I think 255's look too big up front. Like an SUV. I have 255's on the rear and I love that look. But I think 245's would be as high as I would go.

Do the 255's, I want to see what they look like before I buy. Do you have cut coils?

No coil cut yet, might have to use the car for snow duty this winter so I would need the height for my snow tires.
Getting carfixer alignment done this weekend and come spring time I will be getting the coil cut for sure.
Just flipped a quarter and landed on tails which I chose to be the 255/45 so that's what I am getting.

Sounds good, post some pics from the side, so I can see what I'm getting in to, I'm planning a coil cut also, but right now I'm a little apprehensive.

255 is the dimension for the WIDTH of the tire! The next # after that is for the sidewall ratio which will control diameter/overall height.

Do you have a few pics of your car? Would like to see how the 255 looks.
