I took off my door sills and have 3M tape all by the plastic rockers in the interior. The only time I had to remove sticky material like this was off the windshield for a city sticker with a razor blade. I wanna remove the tape, but I think a razor blade will scratch the plastic.

Is there something I can rub on them to get this off? ..........that's what she said.

Thanks.

goo gone, lighter fluid, or adhesive remover will help to loosen it up but there may be some work required to get the tape off.

I'd be careful with WD-40 on plastic.

Use Goof -Off or rubbing alcohol.

Goof-Off!
Doesn't work as a repellent for the OP though.
