on the lift?
Dad has a 2 post lift , and I want to put the swaybar on without crawling on my back!
Can this be done on a lift?
My answer is yes. If you are wondering about whether the car needs to be lifted by the tires or not...it is not an issue Rich.

Interesting...Addco says that the car must either be on the ground or supported by the wheels...but, if others have actually done it this way, then I guess you can't argue with success...

RF, you're right about Addco's suggested install method. But, our guy here (whose installed 100's of swaybars and I think about a dozen on Marauders) and Dennis both said it was no problem. I think (don't hold me to it...but someone much more knowledgeable here will...which is good) but I think...if the rearend was an independant suspension...lifting by the wheels would be necessary. Not so with the solid axel.

I done my own in my drive-way with the rear tires on ramps and with a creeper, no problem.
It should be easier on a lift for leverage purposes. :D
