Can anyone access the windshield wire diagram, and what each wire does? I am trying to install a Windshield Wiper Sensor i bought on JC whitney, and the wires are getting a little "overwhelming' since the harness wires change, once they go to the final harness.

If anyone could let me know, that would be AMAZING!

What does the "windshield wiper sensor" do?

LOL..... makes the windshield wipers automatic... like a BMW..... has an optical sensor on the windshield that detects rain

This sensor didn't come with wiring instructions?

I have the chassis wiring manual...if you tell me what you're looking for, maybe I can help.

that would be AMAZING!

Basically, right above, and to the right (i feel like im quoting the movie airplane!)

just above, and to the right of the master cylander their is a harness, this to my understanding (by unplugging it) is the harness to the wiper module.

I would like to splice into that cable running to the module, and need what each wire does.... such as which is the "low" and "high" and 1,2,3 intermittant.

if you could post a picture of what you have, that would be awesome!

And if i can figure this out, i will post full pictures of what i did, so everyone can buy this 19.00$ module from JC Whitney.

See if this helps:

The connector to the wiper motor has 12 pins. The ones I think you're interested in are 1, 9, 10, and 11. The colours are: Yellow/Red, Red, DarkBlue/Orange, and White, all of them 20 ga. Grounding various combinations of these 4 wires produces Low, High, and 5 Intervals.

To produce the various speeds, ground the indicated lines as follows:

Low- 9 and 10.
High- 1 and 10
Interval 1- 9 only
Interval 2- 9 and 11
Interval 3- 11 only
Interval 4- 10 and 11
Interval 5- 9 and 10

Grounding pin 12 (DarkGreen) puts VPWR on pin 7 (Black/White) to actuate the washer pump.

Pin 5 (Brown/White) is VBATT (Hot at all times) and Pin 8 (DarkGreen) is VPWR (Hot in Run or Acc) Do not confuse pins 8 and 12...they're both DarkGreen, but pin 8 is 16 ga. and pin 12 is 20 ga.
