My dealer buddy just called and said there was a black '03 Marauder for sale at the auction on the non-running line... Apparently it did start but would would not rev, indicating maybe a fuel system problem??? He said it had 159K mi, needed tires but looked decent with no apparent body damage... If I'd been there, I maybe would have gone higher but didn't want to take on a pig in the poke....

my guess is he means it would start but cut out when trying to rev the engine, as in, giving it gas.

I thought that might be the explanation but just sounded strange to me :o
