ok heres the rundown... im an idiot for one for letting someone put a motor in my car instead of me being lazy... anyways pulled motor out and torque converter was still attached to flywheel.. im guessing e forgot to seperate the two before hand or I would not have this problem... anyways put motor back in did not seat all the way into the tranny so never will i pay again man tightened the bolts to get the two to come together started car put in gear didnt move makes weird humming noise while in park... I myself took motor back out seperated the torque converter first like your supposed too then took off torque converter and seen that i guess there is a bearing or something on the back that runs into the front pump assembly... anyways took front pump out and seen what looks like some sort of bearing in there that was broken etc... what should I do... take to shop... or go with a new front pump assembly.. and if I go with new does that mean all i have to do is remove old pump slide in new pump and throw torque converter back on then line up motor align flywheel and go from there or are there any steps in between? please help sorry long story

Why didnt you take the transmission out the 2nd time?

idk i figured it would have been just the front part since the torque converter wasnt seated all the way in the pump housing

You may be able to just replace the pump, but I believe you need to stand the trans up on its end to install it. Might be a good idea to replace the converter too.

You can take the pump in and out with it horizontal
