Like most of us, I had a jingle and noise in the front when I go over bumps. I've read other post and such members saying they had a loose wheel center cap etc. Well I am here to tell you that I thought the same thing. I took the car over to the local shop, got it on the lift and to my surprize, the front tie rod end bolts were making their way lose. In the old days cars used to have cotter pins holding them. On our car not such a thing. Someone up in FORD's think tank decided to save a few bucks. None the less, if you have the dreaded jingle and noise in the front, check the tie rod bolts. You'll definately appreciate it the next time you bring the beast waaaaaaaaaaaay past the posted speed limit.

Did you buy this MM from a fat guy in a Red Suit just after Christmas last year? If so, I think I know what the "jingle" is. ;)
