Leafin' town (after-wash cruise shots)

Just washed both cars and went for a cruise. The leaves are changing, so I wanted to see what was up. While out, I took some pictures. Scouted a couple really cool locations that I'd like to revisit with someone who knows what they're doing with a camera.

Anyway, here's the first spot. This is Klasen Road in Madison Township.
This was taken with the Retro Camera app for Android. I just think it's damn cool looking.

Ultra-cool location #1: Madison Fire Department, Station #3 (Madison, OH)
The locals were eyeing me and I was actually in the street when I snapped this shot at this unused fire station.

Ultra-cool location #2: Frary's Restaurant (LeRoy, OH)
There is a restaurant and a gas station on the property. Both are abandoned. Dig this. The light sucked, but I think you'll agree that this would be a bitchin' place to take some amazing pictures...

Nice pics... looks like you have an eye for it. Were all these taken with your phone? Not bad aside for the lighting in a few of them.All pictures were taken with my phone (Motorola Backflip). It does a decent job. The thing with photography is, I can often imagine a really cool picture, I just can't execute it. So it usually takes 3 shots to get one good one. I suspect that much of this has to do with the fact that I only have my phone, and an older digital camera. The digital does fine in daylight, but once the light's gone, the pictures suck!


start turning your fog lights on, adds a dit to the car when there on. I need to fix the driver's side fog light first :( which looks like it may end up being a harness. I keep forgetting that I have fog lights because there's always been one burnt out...


beautiful weather and scenery lately. No doubt about it. Hope all is well, and maybe we'll see ya soon or at least next year, Jerry.

Thanks again for the compliments. The more I look at these pictures, I think I like 3, 1, 7, 8, and 9 the best (in that order).

My friend Jason, commenting on my Facebook about a picture I'd taken a couple months ago, said "Man that thing just photographs so easy. They must've sent that car to modeling school somewhere between the factory and the dealer."

I might be inclined to agree with him. I'm not really good at picture takin' normally. This car makes me look smarter/better than I am.
