Really cool, but why pick an underpass to do it? Did you want the echo effect? Just curious.

Yup. For acoustics.

We need to see a 0-100 mph blast through the gears from a dead stop!

1: Clutch in
2: Rev engine to 3,500 rpm
3: Dump clutch quickly
4: :burn:

Why don't you like them?

Because cars should work for their drivers...not the other way around. ;)

Aside from the motorsport of drifting and the situations where one just really wants the feeling of rowing the gears, I'd argue there's not really a need for a full-manual transmission especially with the speed of automatics these days.

That being said though, I absolutely love the feeling of rowing gears and I wish my MM was stick more than I could ever wish it was S/C. :D

Downshifting through curves to keep the rpm's in the sweet spot and powering out of them is the greatest feeling in the world! (well, almost)

It's nice to see the GM stayed in the MM.net family.

Love it!!!!! If mine wasn't a DD I too would do that before boost, but 70 miles of stop and go city traffic is not fun with a stick.

Once it's off the road though I want the viper spec tremec installed. Always wondered about clutch pedal location and interference with the ebrake pedal. Can you post a couple picks of your pedals?

yeh its good another big car lover got it.

heres a pic i got of the pedals, when i welded everything back togther i moved the pads away from each other as much i could and also shortend the clutch pedal about 3 inches or so. cant wait to get a marauder in a few years so i can do it all over again:)

so your termi cobra is an auto?

I sold my T56 stuff a last week after giving it a 3 month chance of me liking it. NOT A CHANCE!

TH400 has been ordered, and its getting a GV Overdrive unit to make it a 6 speed.

Not nearly as much as I used to. Honestly, even since the car started giving me rather frequent problems, I've tried to go very easy on it. For a few weeks I even drove so that the car would never exceed 2000RPM except when on the highway (impossible otherwise), and that's actually a REALLY tough thing to do. I dunno, I love the hell out of my car, but I don't think of it like I used to: when I first got it and was still learning a lot, I wanted it to be this beast machine that I could always wring out on command and be the fastest on the street. Since then though I've grown and I look at it more as the car that I absolutely LOVE being able to drive and that I absolutely want to preserve to keep it for decades to come.

TL;DR: I love the car as a performance machine, but if I want to go wild in raw straight line power or edge-of-my-seat twisties action, I'm gonna look elsewhere and just enjoy the fact that I have a Marauder. :)
