The folks at www.mach1registry.com are getting their diablosport predator tuners for their mach 1 stangs which have the same basic engine as the Marauder. Wonder if it will work on the Marauder.

If I remember correctly Trilogy is also pursuing this for the Marauder!

Yah... it's been delayed though until early next year. Was supposed to be already out.
I've been following the Mach's pretty closely here recently... :D

Oh...I just learned something new. Thanks!

the engines may be similar, but I think the EEC codes and tuning are not. Diablo, last I checked, does not have a tuner for the Marauder.
I've also heard but have not been able to confirm, that the Diablo tuner has "scrambled" a few EECs

RC I think that you will find that most of the "flasher" type systems out there have the occassional unadvertised problem. I was talking to someone in the know recently and they said it had to do with the amount of time that the PCM is "open" for programming and the various things that can go wrong, mainly the timing of writing key startup files to the PCM to make sure it is bootable no matter what.
Others include: First, guys not following instructions :); go figure. Second, battery or power failures. Third, a few people have done some really stupid things, like flash their PCM with the key on, while listening to their 5,000,000 watt stereo with sub woofers and the voltage takes just a big enough dip to screw up the whole process.
Not trying to be overly informative, but it seems that these types of problems have the potential to pop up every so often with any type of flasher system available.

pull the fuel pump fuse, close all doors and allow the interior lights to go out, turn off a/c, turn off radio, turn off auto dimming mirror, turn off auto headlights then connect the tuner to the diagnostic port and follow prompts. This insures virtually no voltage drop.

Yes, I understand voltage drop is the biggest problem.
Joe, another. Close the hood so the underhood light goes off.
The Diablo tuner is interesting in that it is reflashable for upgrades, it also has the ability to do some real time data logging.
Too bad they haven't done a tune for the Marauder, or the SCT programs can't be uploaded to it.
