Has any one run these on their cars? I have them on the rears. They appear to have fairly low miles. Scorpions are truck tires, so I am not sure what to make of it. Pirelli's web site calls them all season sport truck tires, but looking at them I am not so sure.
My fronts need replaced, and are currently BFG KDWS. I don't like to have mixed sets front and back.
The joys of buying a used car. :D

They are slightly wider/taller than the stock rears and slightly lower (but not by much-149 mph) speed rating. I'd just run 'em. Maybe get p-zeros in the correct size for the front?

Does the car have traction control? That can complicate things. If you don't have it you can just get a maching pair for the front. If you do have it, you must maintain the stagered tire sizes front to back even if it means running two different treads.

I have p-zeros on the front and they are pretty great so far.

I put Pirelli Scorpions on my 2000 SUV.......:mad2:
They were great for about 15,000 miles then they got to be THE NOISIEST tires I have ever owned.
I got rid of them well before the tread was gone because of the noise.
WAY TOO MUCH $$$$ for the crappy performance.....THEY SUCKED!
Because of those Scorpions, I won't buy Pirellis again!

Scorpion is their SUV line of tires. Why bother when there are other choices especially if your changing from the factory size anyway.

Scorpions are NG - I had same results as Joe Walsh!

Short term, I think they will stay, but long term they are going to go. I will have to take a picture, but they look sort of wierd on the car. The center of the tire has reasonable tread, but the shoulders have small lugs almost. I guess it would be ok on a truck, but it is odd on the car.

When you get into the tire size on the Marauder your in the "sport truck" or "SUV" range.

They have a fair amount of tread left, but look odd to me.

They are pretty bad. When I walked up to it the first time, before I looked at them and saw they were truck tires, i wondered if they were some kind of crazy snows with the huge side lugs.
I might run them through the winter, as they are supposed to be all seasons, but they will have to go by spring.

Im putting my pirelli spcorpion ice and snow next week, i'll let you know how it goes. Of course im using them for WINTER only and Im sure they will be fine. You cant be too picky with tire sizes with the marauder....I found that out pretty quick

I am already learning that. I am still trying ot get my mind wrapped around the better alternate sizes.
