Does anyone have a good picture of how far out the stock tips sit on the car?
What I mean is that I had the shop bring them out - from the bumper - just a bit, and now I think it kinda reminds me of a Dodge pick-up and their "stick-out" tips.
I just don't know how for out they originally sat.

I couldn't tell you how far the originals stuck out other than to say they didn't. I had mine mounted far enough of to be able to read the Megs logo on top, and never had a droning issue.

Just about flush with the bumper, I actually moved mine to be totally flush with the bumper, I'm in the corner of having them stick out looks silly

Oops! :o
Had mine extended out about 1 1/2" when I put on the res-delete to reduce drone.

I did it for the drone myself, hated the look, but have long since forgotten about and it doesn't bother me the slightest bit anymore.

If they stick out and look like ass, isn't that a good thing :D ??? Well at least at the beach!
And it's our responsibility to give all the slower rides behind us, something to look at.

Good eye. It was my fault for trying to get it done cheap. I'll get it fixed one of these days.

There are quite a few out there, avoiding chambered mufflers is the first step. There are lots of threads I'm sure listing mufflers that people have found which are good about drone. For me switching to the super turbos has been one of the best things I've done.
