Hey guys, I hit Portland International Raceway Dragstrip yesterday. On my sixth run of the day I lined up, watched the lights and punched the gas... When I looked up and saw the clock I saw 0.000 on my side of the drag strip.:D I knew immediately I hit a perfect light. The guy handing out the tickets told me to go to the control tower and ask for a perfect light sticker. He said they don't see these too often.

How uncommon are perfect reaction times? What are some of your best reaction times?

A perfect light is fairly rare, you can be proud...

In the last 10 years of drag racing I've never cut a perfect light, I believe .002 is my best, guess you could say I almost red bulbed... I have had plenty(or so it seems)-.003, -.005, etc...

CONGRATULATIONS! Add it to your sig.

I saw a guy run a perfect RT and Dial In. He drove a 1974 Ford LTD Wagon.

Thanks guys! I wish I could say it was pure skill but I am sure luck had much to do with it. Nevertheless, I'll take the perfect light.

CONGRATULATIONS! Add it to your sig.

That's a great idea! I think I'll do just that.

Congrats, it is not all luck! You seem to have gotten the tree down very well. My best was .009 so I have a ways to go to match you.

You did a poor job of red lighting.:P Good job tho! That sticker is pretty cool!:)

I've hit 2 or 3, one fairly recently back in June this year. Sherm has a few under his belt too.

If you get consistent .0xx's your doing good.

Congrats on the perfect light! Nothing to sneeze at! i wonder if O'Reilly has stickers for perfect lights... If they do I might try harder on practice night!

You obviously don't need this with your Jedi tree skills, but it's fun! :D

I tried this before and I suck at it. However, I got lucky just a few minutes ago. See screen below. It's a red light but RT is 0 sec. I should probably start playing the lottery.

You cut a pact with Satan for that .000. I know this because you ran a 14.666.

I got a 0.001 in the K5 years ago. I have never heard of a perfect light though. Great job!
