Progress progress progress!

Talked to my bud at John Eagle and we're getting test panels done up to decide on the final coloring...

Since the entire car is getting repainted under warranty, I'm adding a few of my own bucks to get a bit of custom work done... Nothing too outlandish (I just don't have the fortitude to do a two-tone scheme at this time)... So I decided, I'm just going to get a bag of pearl chucked into the clear coat.

So early next week I should have 3 or 4 test panels with various colors of pearl clearcoat over a new coat of Ford Black base coat...

Decisions Decisions!

It'll be going in for it's paint work from the 2nd through 15th of January...

Now if Jerry would get me some of them there bumper covers, I'd be all set!

I've often wondered what a flame job would look like.

But not a normal flame job. Just clearcoat with some glass beads mixed in. It wouldn't change the colour of the paint, just at night when light reflects the right way, the flame job would appear.

Don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind...

I have to take 'er easy on my pocket book for a little while though... A supercharger kit really kills the wallet!

If possible take some pics of the test panels and post them as mine goes in the shop next week and I was planning on adding pearl to the clear myself. As for the ghost flames that was the original plan with a cameleon scheme but the wallet wants the Turbo over the paint. More go less show wins!:) ;) :P :D
