Just wondering why theres a boost bypass valve used on these blowers.
Iv'e run 671's in the past and don't recall having one on those. What would happen if you forgot the vacume line or it accidently popped off.

ohhh bad ju ju! it allows boost to be recycled back thru the blower when its not needed, and bleeds off any excess boost, sort of like a waste gate on a turbo engine:burnout:
I can understand the reason for a BOV on turbo's and centri's because your slaming the TB shut but with a roots its all contained under the rotors.

They still need a by-pass valve. Even the anemic M-90 blower on a factory T-Bird SC came with one factory.
