Should the connector going into the tranmission on the passenger side have tranmission fluid in it when unppluged? Chasing what looks to be an eletrical problem with my transmission and this connector looks rough. Connector is right before the crossmember.

It's normal for there to be a small amount in the connector...if it leaks out steadily, then no.

Looked like quite a bit of fluid.

They do sometimes leak. They don't normally cause much in the way of issue though. They are cheap and easy to replace too.

Getting two codes p0740 and p0743 any Ideas?

I just hot done taking my trans out, I did find some oil on the connector but no leaks. That normal.

I thought you had to remove the valve body to replace that connector?

Replaced TCC solenoid. All is well again.
