Thats the alley, who cares? One of those strange things about Dallas is most newer homes the garages face the alley in back. Never saw that in San Antonio or Houston. Thats why in "King of the Hill" they are always standing in the alley drinking beer because "Arlen" is probably supposed to be Garland, Texas (my town is right next to Garland and all of this is still part of the Dallas metroplex). The gas meters arent pretty thats true.
