Well it depends on the size of each hole of course.

Into the tunnels, lodged into the oil that we all know gets in there until the vacuum is enough to suck it into the cylinders, slipping between rings and cylinder walls, lodging in between the valve stem heads and seats where it glows like a hot coal, eating away metal... :D

Sooo, we're saying to just drill it while it's on the car and the excess material gets hot while it makes calliope sounds before going off? COOL!

OK, I'll play really stupid. Other than take in unmetered air, drip out unwanted oil, exactly what does that thing do? Anyone want to guess?

Keep in mind I am not a tech and do not play one on TV.

My exhaust still makes the pinging sound. One of the few at MV8 that still did.

HEHE! Actually, it would be metered air since it's allready in the intake manifold/upper plenum at that point. I think someone got the idea that it would be a shortcut to the runners, kinda like a shortrunner. One, the holes aren't big enough. Two, they're just adding side turbulence to the air flow. Third... If you could get some small ball bearings under those holes, it would probably sound like a gang of referee's whistles on steroids!:D
