:rolleyes:I have a 03 marauder ( deleted tips, with aftermarket muffler) i was wondering, since i do not have money for headers now, will a set of high flow cats and cobra manifolds modify the sound any (or will either one alone) with the exhaust set up i have, work .:help:or which will you try first. please feel free to voice your opinion on this, good or bad idea.

Delete your rear cats, replace the stock mufflers with Aero Turbines.
It WILL be louder...

Either one will modify the sound.
High flow cats will be cheaper of the two ideas.
Headers will change it more dramatically though.
You ask which to do first? The manifolds (if you can't do them yourself) will be pricey to have installed.
My 2 cents.
Delete your rear cats OP what muffler do you have now

the cheapest way to do it would be to delete the rear cats. That makes them substantially louder. Try that 1st.

Go with the rear cat delete and see how you like that.
Don't waste your money on the Cobra manifolds.
I just had my whole exhaust from stock manifolds back replaced with full 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel piping from manifold to tips, 2 high flow Magnaflow cats, H-pipe, retained Aero mufflers and res-delete tips.

Do a midpipe swap with high flow cats and leave the rest alone.
