:congrats: POPS!!! :woohoo:

Tranny in the GM went boom.

Guess that's what mega-HP will do to you. But he'll be fixed and back at it real soon.

Be afraid, Jake; very afraid... :D

Well the tranny let go on the second pass so the tbolt will be coming insted. I know how that feels, after upgrading several other things in the car, first time out transmission lost third.
I know Pops will get her right back again.

The Grand Marquis did the 10.88.:D Lost second gear on her! the second pass as I had to back off to get to shift. That pass wass 11.93. The third pas had no second at all. It slowed down to 13.19 @ 78 mph just off the low gear launch. The interesting part is the 60 foot time was 1.76. A lot more time to shave off. It was a built transmission Rex. This is the first time the car was run with the 110 octane tune in her. I will have to wait till spring to try again! It was like driving a fighter jet!:banana2:

.1776 reaction time
1.7604 60 foot
4.6704 330 foot
6.6322 594 feet
7.0697 1000 foot
10.8828 1/4 mile
129.77 MPH

Nothing to look out for now!!!

He's running 13's! :shake:

But that's still fast enough to beat you Rex!

Bob she has a lot more left in her when you look at the sixty foot time. I posted the numbers off the time slip above. It was a thrill ride all the way!

Very nice looking cage. Nothing wrong with using a Ford trans in a Ford product.

Casey I can not afford a hair cut! Saving for a new tranny now! Linda cuts it when she can get me to sit down. Not sure I trust her that much right now as she may start at my throat!

So have you guys figured out how to open the doors yet? They said I needed a mechanical way to open the front doors. I will tell you that a remote door poper will open them but I have installed another way!!!!
