I need a front License Plate Bracket and the hardware to mount it to the front bumper. The state I bought my 2003 from didn't require a front plate, but the state I live in does.

I am looking for one that looks like new. I need its condition to match the rest of my 24k mile Marauder.+0

I can get one from the dealership, or Ebay, but I would rather see someone here get my $.

PM me with details and price. I can pay with Paypal.

Thanks.

Unless your state is a real hard nose about it I would just leave it as is....with that being said...I took mine off at about 30K....pretty sure I still have the screws some were....

Sadly they are. I was told its something like a $300 ticket. I work in Oregon and I know they want them for the photo tickets. For now I just have the plate sitting on my dashboard.

I don't see how another state can enforce whether you have both plates, lots of states here in the east only have one plate(VA isn't one of them though)...

Mine didn't have a bracket either and doesn't have screw holes, so I just used double face tape to "stick" the plate on... When I get the tint redone to legal specs it's coming off and I won't have one, never stopped in eight years in my T-Bird with no front plate(I'm figuring the tint might get me stopped, only want one thing for them to ***** about) ...

I dont think Oregon can enforce that Washington law, but what they can do is use the no plate as an excuse to pull me over and then try and give me a ticket for something else. Not that I do anything that they could ticket me for. I don't speed, everyone wears a seat belt, I don't talk on a cell phone, and I always have valid insurance.

In Washington they can pull me over for no plate, give me a ticket and send me on my way. Its revenue and Washington is hurting for money. I doubt you would ever hear it, but enforcing some of the stupid laws such as Window tint, tire width, truck height, etc would be a way to bring in money. I just would rather avoid the hassle because in the end I am going to loose. There are holes in the bumper to mount the bracket already and when the shipping company had it they rubbed a white car. The bracket will cover that up as well.

Wait until you see how big and stupid looking it is. Do the angle bracket thing. It's much cleaner, plus you don't have to drill holes.

What is the angle bracket thing?

yeah...but he aleady has holes...so it wouldnt help.

It is a way to mount your LP with out drilling holes into your bumper....it some how connects thru your grille or lower bumper and holds the plate and you can angle it so it is straight in front of your bumper

Mine has 2 holes with plastic backing behind it. I went to my local PATS and purchased a pack of liscence plate screws. THey were only a couple of dollars. They can be used with a screwdriver, or if you have an adapter for your drill, you can use that.

Dont put the tag in the front window. It will remind them you dont have it mounted to the front of the car and youll still get a ticket anyway for not having it "properly" mounted. Also it may become a projectile during an accident.
