So after jumping through all the hoops and weeks of lining everything up.. I'm FINALLY flying out from Detroit to Oklahoma Wednesday to pick up a 2003 Black MM. Nicely modded NA car with 4.10's, PI 3500 stall, JLT and tune.

Once I get it back to Ohio. I'll begin the Eaton transformation.... Not planning on driving it in the winter so no big hurry..:banana2:

The new(to me) addition. Coming to my driveway soon.

Kick ass. I flew from Detroit to Florida to get mine and consider it worth the time and effort. Especially lining up financing, flights and crap.

Thanks for the welcome... been looking for on for 6 months. I'm starting to get nervous about it being or not being what the owner described. Hopefully its as nice as he says.

If Dayton's on your plans of cities to drive though, stop by, I'd love to check out your new ride. :burnout:

I haven't really checked the driving route back yet.. Been on this board for a few months now and have really gained alot of knowledge about these cars. I was the SVT tech at the Ford dealer here in Toledo for 8 years, and owned a Automotive Performance Business for the past 10 years. Also been competing in SCCA and NMRA for the past 15 years.. I guess hitting 40 i decided to buy something with comfort..lol

If Dayton is on my route, Ill be sure to let you know. Thanks

Planning on taking plenty of pics for this journey.. First time ever flying one way to get a car..:loco:

Well, if it will make you feel better, I'm doing the same tomorrow.. lol... Miami to NY. And I'm having the same anxiety about the car as you. Must be a 40 yr old thing.

I just sold my 500HP 03 Cobra because I wanted something quieter and practical...but im only 30! I was working at a Lincoln-Mercury dealer when they were selling Marauders new and Ive loved them ever since. Now is the time! Good luck getting her home.

I finally made it home yesterday (thurs) with the Marauder from Oklahoma. I didn't take as many pics of the journey as I wanted to, but I was just in a hurry to get home.

I'm very pleased with the car.. it rode great and didn't even notice the 4.10's out back. Checked the mileage twice, first time was 21.5 mpg and the second time was 23 mpg. Better then I thought it would be.

Going to spend the day detailing it out before putting it in the garage.

Thanks for all you help, this forum is great and seems to have alot of helpful members.

I can't remember the name of the town he lived, but it was about 20-30 min north of Oklahoma City airport.

Stopped half way to catch a couple hours of sleep just outside St. Louis

Congrats on her being good to go! That gas mileage is about the same as my NA DTR with a few bolt ons and the 4.10s.

All I need is a few more parts: heat exchanger, intercooler pump, fuel pump and alt bracket.
