Tach Adaptor

My car is an 05 GM. I'm getting ready to install my tach adaptor, tach and window switch for the nitrous. Can someone fill me in as to which wire I will run my tach adaptor and window switch off of for the rpm reading. Thank You

White/Red wire on the coil closest to the firewall on the driver's side (cylinder #8). Pull back some of the electrical tape to splice in for the tach signal. Set the window switch for single coils.
