Does anyone know if the Lightning blower tensioner 1L3Z-6B209-BA can be used to replace the one supplied with the Trilogy kit?

Part number information I have for the Trilogy tebsioner is 2R3Z-6B209-AA. Do not know the difference.
Have no clue.

2R3Z is a mustang part number prefix

Doe's your tensioner need replacing? Not at this time, but I've already had to replace the idler on the alternator bracket and the ribbed one on the upper passenger side. I just want to know if I can get the tensioner locally if need be.

Part number information I have for the Trilogy tebsioner is 2R3Z-6B209-AA. If I had bothered to look in the Trilogy manual, I would have seen that. :shake: This is what happens when one doesn't RTFM... ;)
In my defense, the replacement pulleys and such are listed with proprietary Trilogy numbers and I didn't think the blower tensioner would be any different.
FWIW, neither Dayco nor Goodyear list a replacement, but Tascaparts.com does list the Motorcraft part, and for a reasonable price if anyone needs one.

FYI, the bearing in the tensioner wheel is replacible, as the bearing in several of the other idlers. Part number of the bearing is a #203PP (I think). I have replaced the bearing on some of the idlers.
