Does anyone here have it and what are the pros/cons etc. I'm seriously considering it and have been getting a lot of info over the last year from pony and eec tuning sites. Just want MM owners thoughts. Thanks!

It is a program you can buy from SCT that will allow you to custom tune your car, it will only be good for your cars ECM, you can buy later additions fo it, this is the same program every Licenced SCT dealer uses, call me any time with any questions.

Oh...well I leave the tuning up to the people who know what they're doin'. I don't like the idea playing with all that stuff, and killing my engine or transmission.
I'm not a tuner. I'm a buyer of tunes!
Thanks for the info though.

I've seen the software - it is very good.
My question is will it work w/the XCall II that I have and can I retain my current custom tune as a starting point for the the Pro Racer software?
Then I'll PM you for pricing.

Thank you Dennis! Does the PRP come with generic injector calibration summary tables that you edit after datalogging? Or can you download those from Ford?

Yes, you can keep a current tune and tweak it. Should not have a prob with the xcal2, but, we'll see what Dennis says for sure.

SCT and Diablo tuners are the devices that deliver the tune. The tunes on the devices can be standard "canned" tunes or a tune that is anywhere from generic for your car to specifically written just for your car with dynoing and/or datalogging. The SCT PRPR (Pro Racer Package) is the software that allows you to build a custom tune for your car on your own. You would really only want this software if you plan on doing lots of mods over time that require big changes.

I have the pro Racer package for my Modfox and it's a nice unit you get your own Dongle and the unit is mated to your PCM info,I use it for data logging through the X-cal 3 via the lap top,you can make changes but this unit doesn't come with any manual and will need a experienced tuner to help you through some areas.

The more you use it the more things become easier.

If not computer savey i would just stick with the X-cal 3 where it allows some changes.

Bill: How built is your car?

This package may be overkill for you.

How much tuning to your car do you really plan on doing anyway?

At the moment, it may be, but, I'm continuously changing and upgrading. Next spring, either the original block will go back in with a stroker assembly or I may go with a stroked bb. I'm having fun! :D

Yup! Thank you!

Does the software still suport the XCal II or does it require XCal III and up?
