What does the recent A380 Air Bus jet engine failure, high decibel Sub Woofer sound and Marauder drive shafts have in common?

Glad you asked, well it's susceptibility to harmonic vibration, like a tuning fork.

After a week of investigation the Rolls Royce team is narrowing it's focus to the cracking of small high pressure oil lines due to harmonic vibration. The same kind of failure that our drive shafts are prone too, hence the speed limiter, and also the vibrations set up by powerful low frequency sound waves that can literally back bolts out of a car. :help:

So, what to do? If you drive more than 80 MPH for extended periods then get an aftermarket drive shaft. Instead of cranking up the stereo, turn it down.:argue:

My two cents for Veterans day, have fun on your day off.

80mph thats it? i drive in the slow lane at that speed. maybe over 110mph i would consider it. or just get the shaft balenced,
