I noticed this hanging from my MAF harness when I was doing a visual inspection under the hood. Just wondering what could have been tied into this for this connector to be here?

Take it off, it is a Sctch Lock and is used to splice another wire in, you can look the color up and see what signal this is if it's maf voltage it could have been used for monitoring but I would not connect any thing to the maf circuit.

^^^what Dennis said^^^
Did you recently buy this car? If so, maybe the previous owner had one of those fake "performance chips" from e-Bay that makes all those wild claims for increased power. Those are nothing more than a 69-cent resistor that connects to the IAT and fools the PCM into thinking the intake air temp is cooler than it really is and adds fuel and timing.

I'd just take it off. It may have been for one of those chip thingies, or it could have been the pickup for a MAF-variable water/meth injection system.

Just found this post. I'm the PO and I did not put that on there. Made no scotch lock connections to anything...
