did some cleaning on the old blue before Rex comes and picks it up tomorrow. i must say if i were in need of another mm it might just be a blue. i was never really a fan of the blues but its grown on me looking at it for the past 2 weeks. i put about 130 miles on it taking it to work the past 2 days and i haven't had any problems what so ever with it. i wish i could have gotten the SB out for a lil shoot but its immobile at the moment.

^^^^^^^ +1 ^^^^^^^^

I'm convinced that if Mercury would have built an '05 S/C'd version of the Marauder, THIS is what the car would have looked like.

I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to have Dave do this swap for me! It goes above and beyond any expectations I had.

Tomorrow afternoon ain't gonna come soon enough... :D

I think if they had come supercharged from the factory, we would have more wrecks to pick parts from.

I hope not, but gotta admit; I'm worried about keeping my foot out of it.

We'll see how the drive back from the airport goes tomorrow evening.

Who knows, maybe I'll get bored with the car right away... ;)

Hey Rex!

After seeing your 'Carolina Marauders' front plate I can't believe that you let a "darn Yankee" drive your beloved Marauder for several days....:P

BTW: Sweet looking Marauder and a 'sano' install....:bows:

Doomie I've been thinking about this for a while so I'll ask.... Of all the Hemi's you routinely destroy how many of them are blown and not stock? Fairs fair buddy:dunno:

Fair is fair huh??? (says the man who wants me to race a nissan titan in the snow) :bs:

First of all have you ever heard the phrase RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG???

And second, after i blow their doors off most of them either turn off and go hide somewhere. :hide: or just dont want to play anymore! :alone:

Or they are so far behind me that i would need binoculars just to see them.

YES i have ran quite a few "worked" cars. NOT STOCK!!! :D

Fair is fair!

I'll be laughing at that one ALL WEEKEND!

Hope this answers your question.

Dave picked me up at the airport this afternoon, then we headed back down to his place to get the car.

He did an incredible job with the installation, super attention to detail.

No burnouts at his place , but I did have me a time on the way down to Woodbridge. Love that whine! The responsiveness is aswesome, I am absolutely thrilled with the car.

To top it all off, Charlie (Bluerauder) gave me a holler en-route, and I ended up stopping in Woodbridge for ribs with Charlie, Chris, Sherman, Mark and Pam; what a great way to end a special day!

Will head on home tomorrow.

Note to anyone on the fence about going from NA to SC: Don't ponder. Just DO IT! :D

I think your skirting the question. Does "worked" mean blown or does it mean the guy has an aftermarket muffler or maybe a tune?

I stand by my race criteria. You have 250-300 more HP and 1000+ less weight so to be fair I think 2-3 inches of unplowed snow would be a good equalizer....fairs fair:D

I forgot to grab the camera as I ran out the door for this mini-CAM meet. It was put together pretty quickly as we estimated what time Rex/SC Cheesehead would be getting into the area. Thanks to all who were able to come out on short notice.

Rex, Blown3.8, Shermanator, Bluerauder, Merc & Pam rallied at the "Smokey Bones" restaurant just off I-95 and the Prince William Parkway. We had dinner and drinks as we shot the breeze about MMs and the long history that got us to this point.

Sherm pointed out the fact that I was the only N/A at the table and that I should just sit back and listen. :o He and Merc continued to apply pressure to S/C the Bluerauder. ;) I thin that they are trying to get my car impounded by PW's finest. ;)k

After dinner, we all went out to the parking lot to admire the new install on Rex's MM. Very clean install ..... looks great. Rex is adjusting to his new level of power and enjoying his new toy.

We busted up about 10:00 PM and Rex followed Sherm & Chris down to the Dumfries exit to find a hotel to crash for the night. It seems that ALL of the hotels around Potomac Mills were booked up for the night.

Safe travels Rex ... see you on the next run. :D

Looking to having a quick lunch with Rex along with 03mmmonroe here at work just off I-85 as Rex heads further south toward home this afternoon.

I'm at work this weekend just of the exit from where MVVIII was held.

Hope to post up if we can make this lunch thingy work out----should be around an hour from now-

UPDATE--Rex just called and said it would be about 2:15PM now as he ran into traffic between Richmond and

Dude WTF are you smoking?! :rasta:

So you think my marauder weighs 3.300 POUNDS? :loco:

News flash professor Chargers AND challengers weigh the same as our marauders do! :shake:

Maybe you should stick with your nissans because you don't seem to know too much about american cars!

If fair is fair then how many marauders racing have 5.7L and 6.1L engines????????? :dunno::dunno:

Hemis kill us on displacement... the supercharger is what makes it fair if you ask me. Even though noone did lol

Hey Sherman, you were right, I'm falling in love all over again! :D
