As posted, I need some type of a price to put on a buddies car, since there seems to be a lot of this going on here lately, I figured what's one more value question.

The car in question......

2004 Marauder, Silver Birch, Dark Charcoal, all stock, no tune, original owner, 14k miles on it, well maintained, never parked outside.

Options, heated seats and a aftermarket Webasto moonroof. It does have a fullsize spare and no wing. Never been wrecked or painted on, the car is literally as it was when he picked it up from the dealer.

I am looking for a high and low figure based on the Marauder community's thoughts. We know what they are truley worth, I have figures in my head, I just want to make sure I'm in line with the market.

Please no dickering about it's the best color and all that b.s., just really what the value is of said car.

Thanks in advance.

hmmm id say realistically, probably 15-17 for a low mileage mint car

KBB says $16,155.00 Retail for Excellent condition.

$14,130.00 Private Party in Excellent condition.

Both listed at 15,000 miles with Moonroof. I think those are probably good points for a high and a low estimate.

if the right buyer finds the car i say 15-17 k, you just cant find low mile mm in stock trim all that often any more.

I would think closer to 16-17. I just sold a 40K mildly modded 04 for 15K.

yeah sometime next year, depending on the kind of work I'm doing next year I want to switch to a C6 Z06 for my driver, and build another race car since I have no plans to ship up the one from home.

God why didn't I wait another year before buying a MM? :bigcry:
I don't even want to tell anyone what I have in mine in just over a year.

Good thing I love it!

I don't think I could spend hours of seat time in a Vette. I looked at a C5 new when I was thinking of trading in my year old Mark 8. Really pretty go cart.

I just spent 13 hours in the MM last weekend after SSHS and got up the next morning and went to work.

$14-18,000.

Is your friend in a rush to sell?

As far as a rush, probably in a month or 2, he is actually selling several of his cars, 2004 DTR T-bird, 3k on the clock, 2007 Shelby Mustang(convertable), 2k on the clock, and a 57 T-Bird that he has had for the last 49+ years, IIRC, he said he has put less than 10k on it since he had it restored in the 90's, he has 150k in receipts for this car.

The 57 is literally a show car, words cannot describe how perfect it is, well they can sort of, it took 2nd place in the U.S. at the national T-Bird show last summer, been in a magazine or 2.

I'll take pictures of all tomorrow, I will post the MM here before it goes on any other forum. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts, I was a little concerned about the aftermarket moon roof affecting value, but it honestly looks 100% better than my factory roof, just more aesthetically appealing.

I gave 22,500 for mine in 04 with his exact mileage, honestly I would pay it again for the right car now if I were looking. Sometimes higher prices attract a different level of purchasers.

I'd say 18-21, if they wanna cry about the price, tell them to go find another with the same mileage in 100% unmolested condition. Oh, and bye bye.

I paid that for mine with 9K miles

^Agree with this, if he goes less than $15k he's ripping himself off.

Tell him to hold it a few years and I'll buy it, because SB is my favorite color!

He is going to sell 3, the first 3 that sell are the ones, I guess we will see what happens, I'll post some pics of this car, and some of his others later today. He did tell me I could have it for 8k.........
