14.1 here.
I've always wonder if the amount of max boost a stock engine can take matters what kind of blower is cramming air down it's throat or is more about the power the blower makes at said psi:hmmm:.

Well at that same boost level a centriffy would be exceeding the safe limits of our motors.

boost is too relative, I made over 500hp on 9psi
hp is relative that can change depending on what what dyno is used or settings are used. My car dynoed at 430hp but my car seems to run better 1/4 mile times than that looking at others cars hp. Livernois said my car would put down 450-470 on other dyno's as theirs read's low

My hp is based on MPH, it hasn't been on the dyno since 2007 or 8
I see, I found a program that converts 1/4 mile mph and vehicle weight to give a hp estimate. Seems my car should put down @ 467

dosnt seem very accurate.

I made 472rwhp at only 8.2 psi. And 15* of timing.

how much TQ Landy?

I know there are so many variables in any method of measuring HP or TQ :shake:.

That is where these blowers differ; there is like no timing in this tune!
But that's ok!, variety is the spice :beatnik:

Yeah that calculator says I made 560+ on 9psi, that seems a little steep.
my car like Landy likes a max 15* of timing on 93oct my car is at 10.5 psi of boost what are the trilogy & Eaton swaps running for timing?

im at 12* and make 435,432 on 14psi
As long as you have decent traction, those HP from quarter mi speed(not ET)calculators are usually very accurate, but you have to enter the proper weight for it to be correct...

Trilogys are set by the customers geographical location and what octane fuel will be available.
For Eaton swaps wouldn't it be up to the tuners descresion?

MPH to power usually isn't a hard calculation, I use a table sheet thing Scott has, and it is a lot more believable than that link, so it may just be using some bad math. There is no way I was making 560some HP on 9psi
this one seems a little closer to reality maybe

Interesting this one says my car is 422-432 hp seems spot on with Livernois dyno readings.

the more heart breaking numbers are usually the more reasonable it seems. I'd say it might be a little low perhaps. I think I dyno'd 440 on a dynojet when I ran 110mph.
Not heart breaking at all for me but the Mustangs,SRT8 & Camaro owners with a 4 door they cant pull that may be heartbreak;)

So if you increase the timing, the hp goes up?

I would think your HP is really low going off of 14 PSI? Surely there must be ALOT more in there. I was dynoed at 11.4 PSI and 445/430 without headers. Thats a huge difference in PSI's. Embarrased to say that I have NO idea what my timing is at...
