Rear axle drivers side leaking now clicking

Drivers side axle leak bad now it started to click make noise during turns and bumps. Want to run moser 31 spline axles and new seals any ideas on cost and repairs let me know any experience with this will help thanks

You will also need a 31 spline carrier. Their is an Explorer model that came with a 31 spline carrier from the factory.

This could save you some money.

i recently called moser regarding axels they qouted me $420 once i give them the measurements, and they dont include the abs rings

ahhh +1 rock auto sells the cv axels 31 spline for $110 each, and they come with abs ring

...if you had a bearing failure...the proper way to repair is to remove the entire rear axle, disassemble it, and power wash it to remove all the tiny flecks of metal that have contaminated the entire interior of the housing.

My experience is the '06< 31 spline axles will not fit properly, as they hit the parking brakes. I have posted a very long thread on the swap.

I have Ford 31 spline axle shafts in it now.
