Go out and count all the dings in that side molding, from other car doors, then think what would happen without the molding, just saying.

Mine has -0- dings, of course, you have to drive the car to get them.
But really, your doors will take a beating, it may clean it up, but in 6 months you'll regret it.

Side molding didn't help me :shake:
Got two dings on left rear door six inches above molding :depress: and one on fender right over rear tire . Nothin on the molding. Just too many suv's out there.

I just noticed on the drivers side rear door the moulding is about 1/2 inch shorter then the pass side, but also there is a line that lines up with the line in the front and rear bumper, without it it may look kinda funny, anyone have a pic?

There is a hole about as big as a quarter under the rear molding that would have to be filled then a repaint of the door.

Would prob look way cleaner but Id rather replace molding then constantly repairing a door skin

yeah i would leave it be ,the door dings will happen as soon as you remome them. I think it would change appearance of car in negative way.plus it follows lines that are on front, rear bumpers my .02 .

Check out my sig! I think it looks good. Keep in mind that there are quater sized holes in the back doors that will need to be filled.

At the risk of being identified as a "ricer" I will confirm that I removed the trim on my "Trailer Queen" and it makes the sides look much cleaner. I also shaved the gas door. There is a hole in the rear door about silver dollar size which must be filled and of course repainted. But, in my opinion, the car is improved in appearance.
