Pooh... it's old tech. Big block, meaning it's probably got a whole bunch of inches of displacement, it's got that big old inefficient carburetor thingy on top, those headers are big and noisy-looking, it doesn't look like it's got any knock sensors to keep the ignition timing out of detonation range, and it probably gets horrendous gas mileage to boot!
Get with the 2Ks and get yourself a nice decent high-tech VTEC motor with some double overhead thingies and some fuel injectors... tuned them intake ports, get a PCM and some knock sensors wired up... and lose the distributor! HP per liter is where it's at nowadays! Don't forget the fart can exhaust...
j/k ;) looks awesome!
(my anti-rice pills must be wearing off, dammit...)

nice job mike,,i see it has our heads on it
while we are on the subject of american horsepressure, here are a few shots of a small block chevy i did for some local street racers this fall.this is 440 inches with canted valve heads.it made just shy of 900 hp,coming in at 889@ 8300 rpm.we might put 2 carbs on it this winter to try and get it up near 1000hp.this motor is in a 69 camaro with a powerglide.
