I am looking for a good shop to install 4:10 gear, Has anyone had experience with a Chicagoland shop, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

They did mine 2 years ago and I have never ever had a problem

They are by 157th and Polaski. Right off of I-57 exit for 159th street.

That's close to me Dom, how much was it if you recall?

I would assume Sutton Ford in Matteson would do a decent install on it as well. They are licensed SVT tuner and shop there.

Sutton Ford did mine also, no complaints here.

I don't recall. I think $280 for labor, install kit, lube too.

+1 they seem to be great Ford dealer. They may even change your PCM to account for the new gears.

If by "change" you mean reprogram, they won't because 4.10's were never an option in a marauder/grand marquis.

Yes they will if you purchase a tuner for it.

3.73 was NEVER an option on the P71's either - the PCM is programmable.
