Has anyone bought an engine from these guys?
I'm only about an hour and a half away so I can check them out in person and save on freight. I'll have to pay 8% tax though. :(

They have been around for years. Living so close is a plus. Do a internet search on the company for consumer satisfaction & warranty. Inquire auto club webs also Facebook Twitter City Search ect. may help.

Funny Ive already done this exercise. BTW, BBB isnt the end all be all; that said it helpful in that if they are an accredited business they are obligated to resolving complaints otherwise their rating will be affected. Some non-accredited builders abide by this some could care less. Good Luck!! Here is my links from my research. I like you decided to go with a local builder.....MMR with the same logic.

I have! I bought a 351W short block years ago from them and it was fantastic. The machine work was perfect, internally balanced, forged pistons, they even asked about my combo and power goals and found the appropriate camshaft for me.
