Buying Rear Tires - Advice?

I am buying 2 255/55/18 rears for the MM. I am a cheap skate so I narrowed it down to the Nankang SP-5($108 + frt) or the Toyo Proxes ST-II($134 + frt), both 420/A/A. Anyone have any experience with either of these two?

I have 20k miles on my toyo proxes and countless 100 feet twin black marks on many roads all over Florida and they still got about 25% left go with toyos.

What are the speed and load ratings for either of these?

Also remember your tires are the only thing between your car and the ground. Not a good idea to cheap out on something important like that.

Yeah!!! That was before hand!! Now you need wider and fatter==for those accidental stomps that with eat those you have now-----

Yep ^^^^^. :up: Brakes and tires are something I won't go discount on.
