Can someone give me a reason why the i/c system was designed with two small sections of hose going in/out of the intercooler core are reduced from 3/4"to 5/8" ? Would it not make sence to have kept it all the same size ? Maybe better cooling.

As air is cooled, you can move the same amount through smaller piping because it's more dense a charge. Just a wild guess!

I assume you're talking about the heat exchanger for the eaton? I'd assume that either 1. It doesn't matter due to the amount of fluid that can flow through the heat exchanger, or maybe 2. has to do with the vol rating of the pump.

The IC pump is 3/4" and the HE is 5/8" and is has to step down somewhere?

Take a look at the attached exploded view.

Are you referring to parts "15", or "18" and "19"?

question is why are we worried about this? it works great and there is no way to up the size at the IC inlet with out a new custom IC and INLET.

Yes, I am just wondering why they designed it two different sizes & not all at 3/4"
