Last night my instrument, oil pressure, and volts guage light all stopped working. I started my car and the doors were open, so the lights inside were on, the instrument cluster and guage lights were on, fog lights, and headlights were on. Then i flashed my high beams and then my instrument cluster and guage lights stopped working. I checked all the fuses and they are all fine so im thinking that I maybe fried a circuit board or something?? Has anyone have any suggestions or has heard of this before?

I've never heard of it happening.

Do you have HIDs and do you leave your light switch on the Auto position? Probably have to replace the LCM.

yes i have HID's in the fogs and headlights and keep the lights on auto.. And i was thinking the same thing because its been messed up for months now and whenever i start my car one headlight doesn't work and then i flash my high beams and then they both work. Was hoping maybe it could be something else though.. Do u know if there is a separate relay for the instrument cluster and gauge lights?

I don't know, but when mine acted up, all kinds of strange things happened, although I got no advanced warning.

It could possibly be the LCM.

First I'd check the fuse(s), and the headlight switch.

Did you make sure the instrument panel dimmer switch hasn't been turned off?

Remove your gauge cluster and check the bulbs. Could of has some type of ground loop feedback and blown them. Check your fuses for the gauge cluster as well.

I hope you don't leave your lights on Auto anymore.

It's not so much a problem with leaving them on Auto it's when you go to start the car up it will with an HID kit installed (One) shorten the light of the ballast and (Two) send feedback surge into the system which the LCM won't like at all.
