I don't want one but I may have few options to consider.
just to haul a small 4X8 trailer .Where did you get your hitch?
Was there anything required to modify to install it?

etrailer.com (http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Mercury/Marauder/2003/24526.html?vehicleid=20033257)
I have the small 1 1/4" hitch, for a back rack or bike rack. Installation was "simple", drilled a couple of holes and bolted it on. It is probably worth the $50-75 you might have to pay get in installed unless you like laying on your back on cold cement :(

Reese Class III costs a bit less than the class II tucks right up behind the bumper cover, standard 2" receiver

Need a Modulite to wire up the harness, this is a powered isolator relay keeps the LCM safe from shorts and excess load and provides power for the trailer lights so they are nice and bright. Plus I needed an turn signal adapter as I had the amber turns in my vic, and IIRC the Marauder still has separate turn /stop

I have a Draw-tite class 2 hitch with 1 1/4" adaptor. I only use it for the back/bike rack combo. The hitch is mounted in the back only.
