Quote from Mac:

"IMHO, the OEM snap ring is either sub-standard design, or, it was never installed correctly. Either way, the replacement part is remarkably different, which says that someone knows something about this part failing, and created an improved replacement. Also, like I posted earlier, the accumulator pump was damaged in assembly, in a manner that says Joe-new-guy was on duty when my tranny was built."

To All,
I have searched and searched for the Ford part number for the Snap Ring (C-clip) that goes in the transmission and can not find it. It is probably right under my nose and I just did not see it. If you know what the P/N is please post it here or send me an PM. Also, if you have the part number for the floor mats that will be great too.

Thank you,
Gordon

Gordon...Call Brad. 313.304.8477, a 24/7 telephone number. Brad has the fix you seek, and a lot of other tranny stuff too.

I have all the correct part numbers, and I have the best most complete upgrade kit available and. I was the first person to recognize and come up with the correct fix for this problem. I also ship same day.

Thank you Mac for the phone number called and was able to talk to Brad for a little time before I had toy run for a meeting.

Thank you chapel1, I found the part number. Was not looking in the right place. Once the new year starts i'm going to need to find a second job with all these mods I want to do.

Thank you Dennis, I will be contacting you in the new year about the tranny kit you have available as posted in another thread. Also would like to talk to you about your exhaust system and any other upgrades you might have for the Marauder.

May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Marauder New Year.
