I am considering the 4.10 grears for the rear. Question what RPM would i be pushing at say 70 MPH ??? I do a lot of highway driving and am wondering high much going to the 4.10's will affect it on the road.

Check the Garage Forum - several pages back or use the Search function. Considerable discussions have recently been made on this subject. The difference in rpm is an increase of 15% or about 350+ rpm at 70-75 and a reduction in MPG of about 10%. I personally have debated going to the 4:10's since I do 100 miles per day on the interstates going to work and I get a consistent 20+ MPG with the below modest mods. I have deceided that the T/C is the way to go for an even more significant improvement in performance and 1/4 mile times then the gears with no reduction in MPG.

as simple for you as possible here it is:

W/4.10 gears at 70 MPH in third gear (Overdrive off)-- 3,444 RPM

W/4.10 gears at 70 MPH in Overdrive-- 2,445 RPM.

It's not that bad at all, and you'll only have a loss of acceleration OVER 120 MPH w/the 4.10 gears. Furthermore, when I had the 4.10's in my car(now I have 4.56's) it only brought my gas mileage down 2 MPG from what it was w/the stock 3.55 gears.

So unless you plan on getting into street races over 120 MPH(which would be rediculously crazy), then you'll not miss anything w/the 4.10's.
