Lug nut spacing?

I don't know if that is the right term, but I wanna know what size wheels work. I know we can fit 16s, but as far as making sure they bolt on (the distance b/t lugnuts) I need to know what that is. I might not even get CV wheels for the winter, maybe someones old winter package that just happens to fit mine.

What are the exact numbers for 16s or 17s? I know it's 16x7, but what about the numbers for the lugnuts? Sorry I do not know the proper term.

EDIT: Looks like I found my calling. It would probably be cheaper than getting junkyard wheels and brand new tires. Thoughts on this one?
