is this just an unpopular feature of the site because I have never seen anyone in it or is the forum just the preferred line of communication?

I think Weds. night was the chat nite. I never see anyone on it anymore. PM someone that you want to talk to so they know you are in the room.

I had a couple of mini-trucks built, one for me and one for my oldest son who got me started.

Happy day's they were.

Back in the early days (2003-04) I've seen 20 people in the room--it was a great place to be on Wednesday nites--lots of tech data was exchanged--we got to know each other like we were sitting in a hotel lobby at MV. Then some personalities came in conflict and slowly killed the chat--I really miss it. Sure, a lot of the early members are no longer owners, but that is no reason we can't have the same comraderie we had back then--it was well worth it to be there on Wed. nite--just an old man's rambling, Maury
