Which HID kit to go with?

Im finally going to fix my lcm prob (thanks to the GREAT JIM aka: Fastblackmerc). So for xmas i wanna get the hid kit for the headlights and fogs. Any suggestions? and how much am i looking at price wise? I like the bright blue of the 8k but any help is greatly appreciated.

I do not recommend the 8000k color, its almost all blue and has less light output, plus just draws more attention.

I had 6000K in which was white with a tint of blue for a while and it was good but recently went to 5000K and it's all pure white. I can see more and looks more stock.

The info is in the link below. A few members i know have gone with this kit and it has a lifetime warranty. I havent had any problems. Approx $100 for both head & fog lights

If my batteries in my camera has been working I would of taken new pics and done a whole new write-up for them but they are pretty straight forward and take note to my last post I made earlier today.

The price of the HID kit will be determined by the tyoe of ulb you get.

Type1 - HID bulb for just the lo beams (2 ballasts)- cheapest kit.

Type2 - HID bulb for lo beams & halogen bulb for hi beams (2 ballasts) - more expensive than kit above.

Type3 - HID bulb for both lo & hi beams, there is a solenoid that moves the bulb up & down for the hi & lo beams (2 ballasts) - more expensive than the 2 kits above but I don't know if I'd trust them to last.

Type4 - separate HID bulbs for hi & lo beams (4 ballasts) - this is the most expensive kit because of the 4 ballasts.

I have the "type4" kit. Installed very easy but had to get creative installing the 4 ballasts.

Also beware that the higher "K" you go the less light output.

Everyone that has gotten a DDM kit is running Type 3 besides a few that are running a Type 1.

Type 3 for me.
I couldn't find and set that had two hid's in each bulb.
