In the front end when I go over the smallest bump(s) street depressions. It's maddening! - Any ideas? I read somewhere in the 'what did you do to your Marauder today' about someone that "finally fixed that annoying squeek" but I couldnt find what he did. Also any fix for the console lid rattle? Thanks gents.

Are the bumpers in place on the top of the console?

Classic "Hood Latch" squeak!!!:argue::mad2:
Pull the hood release going slow and see if it stops??
Every CV I've had and the Marauder have done it......Lube the latch and problem solved for now....it will return!!:shake:
Do a search and find tons of suggestions.....locking the hood bumpers helped mine!!

Love your signature line quote, what happened?
Was going through an intersection and El Dudo ran the light in an F150 and hit me mid driver's door. Had it for almost a year and was able to part it out and get almost what I bought it for. Got the new one in July.
The sucking FAT ones was an added bonus. Cops had to keep me away from him at the accident scene. Fun day.

What kind of lube did you use for the hood latch? I've been dealing with that since the first day I had my car. My system normally drowns it out so it only bothers me when the radios off.

Any spray lube...WD-40 won't last but there are other spray oils that will work....heck, just squirt some 30W on it...anything will help!!!

the white lithium grease works well. Put a little dab on top of the hood bumpers, too.

Yep Liquid Wrench Lithium Spray FTW. NOTE: Use caution and disgretion along with a rag positioned under the latch to catch the overspray. I hit mine up pretty good - went to walk away and looked back - the radiator looked like a elephant came all over it. Happy times.

I used electrical tape around the hood latch and that has stopped my squeek for the last month. I'm sure there is a better way but for cheapness sake you cant beat tape.

I used black carpet for stereo boxes, it cant be seen unless looking for it and has lasted over a year and a half already

I just posted a long follow-up on squeek reduction.
Buy high quality rubberized electricians tape. Cut about five inches, wrap the latch hanger loop on the underside of the hood (where it enters the hood latch). I am working on finding a rubberized wrap for us. This is a temp fix, but easy, cheap, and repeatable. New latch loops are available for sale, and this may help too.
USE WD 40 white lithium spray (be careful as noted above) hit the latch, and the hood hinges back by the windshield (again easy to spay everywhere), and the check/adjust the two hood stops above the headlights, as they lower by themselves. Some people lube the tops of these, and some have covered with felt (you must lower them a little then to accommodate the space for the felt) like you can buy for the bottom of chairs on Haywood floors. You can also stick the felt to the hood underneath.
While you are at it, check your Parking brake cable under car, under drivers feet, and lube it there too. There is a rubber bumper that rubs against underbody... Lube there and everywhere. Also back under rear drivers side where, cable covers touch (can squeak there too). Work the ebrake a couple times.
This should get most of them!
Fixed both my cars doing all of the above. The Black was embarrassing to drive is squeaked so badly.

New hood latch strikers from Ford run about $15.
Applying loctite to the hood stop screws and properly adjusting them
Adding the extra hood bumpers
Limit how often the hood is opened and shut
Pretty much long term fixed.

Yes, and my car only had 14,000 miles when it started squeaking...
