BFG has discontinued the production of stock tires, and two shops can't even locate who carries them. Anyone have an suggestions? just need one rear tire thats it! This sucks.

There has been an availability issue with OEM tires for the past several years.
FWIW, my suggestion would be to bite the bullet and make the switch to aftermarket replacements. Nittos, Hankkooks, Falkens, Goodyear, General, lots of choices out there in 255/55/18 that are a superior tire to the 245/55/18 KDWS.

+1 what he said...at this point you realy have no other choice, nitto, toyo, and the others cheesehead mentioned are all much better tires, in the years to come you will see less and less members with bfgs

+2...the OEM tires were never really good.
Go with another brand, you'll be happy.

+1000, most of us have gotten away from the BFGs. I just got new fronts awhile ago and can't believe how much better the car feels without the BFGs.

Maybe they are all on the east coast. I just switched back to the 245/55/18 BFGs on the rear after trying the 255/55/18 GoodYear Eagle F1's for 2 years. My shop didn't have any problems finding the BFGs.

Search for 255'55/18 tires. The are just a hair larger and run great. Many vendors make them. Buy two, keep your one good used OEM tire as an emergency insurance plan. Or give it away to a Marauder buddy.

Those are NOT stockers - those are radial T/A - do not buy these. One member here did and they are very bad. read: run like hell.
