I have been in this car club for as many years as I have had the car and noticed some change. At first it was started because we call came together for the same reason, we all had the same car. We shared tips and tricks for taking care of the car as well as performance upgrades. Anyone who knew anything would surely be a valued member of the club. A few years went by and it went from one owner to multiple. It seems like these owners have gone from gearheads to Republican businessmen and women. They only look out for and support those who give money to the website which already costs close to nothing to operate. Now those who have information we can all benefit from are put on hold if they do not pay up to the moderators.

I have been told it's not a democracy and if I don't like it I can leave. Being that it's an American car, American website and they say it's not a democracy... call me crazy, but the terrorists have won! It's now all about the money. If you donate you have a golden key to the crapper, but if you just make one person mad and you don't donate you're out! These people running the club also never seem to think they are wrong. They never admit to mistakes even if they make them. I sure as heck know I have made a mistake or two in my life and I know I will make more, the people in charge don't seem to think this of themselves.

I have said this to the club before, but they don't want to listen. I feel like I wanna leave, but everytime that happens there seems to be a new reason to stay. Wither I am selling something, helping someone out, going to a meet or just simply discussing subjects that have no relation to the car. It's like how this country is, I love it, love the people in it, but there are a lotta people in office I am not fond of... the biggest difference is I cannot vote them out. I would buy the site if I could, but that would not be the best use of my dollars right now. If I speak up I run the chance of being banned. If I am not banned it's because they would leave all the negative posts just to make me seem like I am in independent thinker. Or get a call on my phone and be ridiculed. It's happened before and it'll happen again. Things were better when it was going back to the old way, now it's all about profit to the owners, the car is the second or third thing on their mind.

I think the Marauder should be number one no matter what. Afterall it's the reason we joined. There are far more problems with rules being bent if it shares the same opinion as a MOD or that the only language on the board is the type you would use in church.... if you even go.

It's just your time and expertise that you're using and evidently it has no value to you like the administration of this site has no value to the owners. We lookout for everyone here whether that person donates or not. Including yourself.

Meaning, server space for your posts, regular scheduled backups to preserve your posts in the event of a server failure. Bandwidth for your posts to travel around the globe and 24/7/365 support for you to post at your will.

In your spare time, surf the web and look up cost(s) of server hardware, licensing, 24/7/365 support, tape drives, backups, storage space, etc..

Your 'next to nothing' cost will rapidly fly out the window.

You've stirred up plenty of people here, including us 'terrorists', and you are still here without donating to the site.

You are welcome to attend regional/national events that the site donates a LOT of time and resources for, with the help of contributing members and vendors on this site.

I met you at Mauderville VIII and was struck by your childishness. For example, you and anyone who wanted one, was given a fire extinguiser. What did you do, you shot if off in the parking lot while holding it between your legs. There were a lot of Marauders nearby and the wind was blowing the powder towards them. I don't know what the powder would do to a cars finish but I'm guessing it wouldn't be good.
