Well for starters, they weigh less then the factory mufflers and outflow them by a slight margin! Not to mention the amazing sound they provide!:)

That will be my next step as well as remove the rear cats. The Guy told me bring the x-pipe and he'll put it on but I'm going some where else for the rear cats removal.

Happened to me on my first car.

Think im gonna go super 44s...out of all the youtube clips ive watched they seem to sound the best IMHO on mustangs,Marauders and crown vics....if you can tell anything from that! my Aeros got *****y sounding after i upsized to 2.5 back to tailpipes, x-pipe and Magna High flow cats...Not Happy! How much drone should i expect if i go this route? that is the only thing that is making me hesitant about the flows. Prob will have two aeros for sale with not much milage on em!

I had some mild drone on the highway but I only heard it with the windows down. Fixed the problem by keeping the windows up on the freeway.

Personally I like H-pipe, X-pipe can add rasp sound mid to high rpm range IMHO.

I've got less drone with my full 2.5" H-pipe Aero exhaust (with stock manifolds) than when I had my chopped up stock piping with super 40 series Flowmaster mufflers. Maybe it's due to having mandrel bent stainless.

just the standard exhaust tubing 2.5" standard bending! prob gonna try the super 44s and then go back to an H if i have to! dont want to quiet it...i wanted it hear it a little more than when i just had the stock piping and aeros...now i have the sound level i want but the sound changed?

You won't need the car retuned and you can buy really any mustang 4v (cobra/mach 1) mid-pipe cause a shop with have to make it fit anyways or just have the shop fab something up for you if they can.

I don't think it's been really dynoed since there are so many different mid-pipes out there plus everyone's system is just about different from the next. I'm sure it will add something. Is the rest of your exhaust stock of modified?

I have super 44's, jba shorties, fabbed bassani x pipe, mandrel bent tailpipes, and stock tips.. The car had no drone what soever...Now that the car is supercharged I have a slight drone around 2k thats really it..

There are a zillion 2.5" x pipes. You will need custom install. Not sure what you are asking so clarify better.
